Aprons, aprons, and more aprons. I am beginning to wonder if aprons are more popular now than when they were not vintage. The perfect housewife, usually depicted in a pencil dress, apron and holding a tray of freshly baked cookies. Oh, how we all wish we could live like that again. There is no doubt in my mind that the 50's will forever have a place in many hearts. I could have gone on and on with images of aprons. I thought I would select a few and maybe it will motivate you too. Take a second of life, when time permits of course. Get yourself an apron and if the sun is out were you live, open up your house, tie on that apron and make something fabulous in the kitchen. Maybe an occasional sip of wine as you go along. Prehaps you have a bottle of Mad Housewife you could pop open. Take a trip back to the way Sunday's used to be. Cook something you love, let the neighbors enjoy the smells as they pour out the windows, and take it slow. Of course after all is done and you have enjoyed your culinary creation, don't forget to remind your boyfriend or husband that if he cleans up, just maybe you will be a French Maid next...
