Champagne Wishes and Diamond Dreams

I whipped up these big treats for my first cupcake contest. Icingdesignsonline.blogspot.com put together a Cupcake Couture Contest.  Since I love cupcakes I thought why not give it a try.  My first entry has pink meringue frosting with pearl pink hearts and is surrounded by a layered vintage crystal necklace.  The cupcake is a yellow cake cupcake.  This is inspired by Guess.  They have a purse called the Pin Up Flap purse, I love it.  The second entry inspiration comes from vintage Hollywood.  The glamour and elegance is so beautiful to me.  So this cupcake has a soft buttercup yellow meringue frosting with little white pearls on it.  The cake for the cupcake is champagne, fluffy and light.  I wrapped the cupcake in some lace and finished it off with a vintage brooch and bracelet on the side.  These were so fun to put together.  I love how they turned out...
