How should I begin this baking adventure. Well lets start with the Spangler Strawmallows, very good. If you like those orange Circus Peanuts, than you will like these as well. I was so proud of how these turned out. White cake with red confetti cupcakes covered with yellow and pink color vanilla frosting. Topped with sprinkles and the strawmallows. OMG! So pretty and tasted great too. So my sons school was having a fund raiser and I am one of those giving parents. Try to help out when I can. So I baked 80 cupcakes to donate. These as well as fridays post were part of the donation. So the down side. It has been raining a lot. I did not have my usual containers to store the cupcakes so I had to improvise. It gets worse. I race out the door after spending all morning and part of the afternoon baking and decorating to pick up the kids from school. My son tells me, sorry but they cancelled the fundraiser until the following week. NOT happy... So I think ok, I have a lot of friends that are always asking for cupcakes to be donated to them:) So the plan was to hand them out the next afternoon. I go out the following day, all are at school, I do my errands, and head back home. To my surprise, my little ant friends found the goods. Oh yes, covered in ants, all 80. So after my anger lifted I decided, okay, I spent the time, and money to do a good deed. It went bad and would have worked out great if they had not cancelled the fundraiser. So my life reminder. I do good things a lot for all that I can. Life is not in my control, so enjoy the fact that the attempt was made. I have these yummy photos and that I did not eat all of them myself. So not all is lost and they looked beautiful even in the trash...
