Layered up & Fabulous

Crush your almonds

Bake a yellow cake thin & cut 

Plate you cake, add your first layer of frosting & crushed almonds

Second layer

Third layer

Top & decorate with almond

These were so fun and easy.  I simply baked my yellow cake with a hint of almond extract.  Cut the circles, about 2-3 inch cookie cutter.  Whipped up my frosting and filled in pipping bag.  Created my layers & success.  My mom was my tester and she was raving about how great they were.  So pleased when a creation comes together like this one.  YUM!
